Recon Outdoors Talon™
Basic Digital Scouting Camera
Recon's entry-level 640x480 resolution Basic Talon captures panoramic digital
photos 24 hours a day using an infrared flash that deer and
other game can't see. By eliminating flash-and-dash, this system
allows you to get multiple black-and-white pictures of animals on the trail. View the images at the tree using the
video port to interface with your video camcorder (also connects to TV and
VCR). Or, remove the CompactFlash memory card and load the pictures into
your computer for printing and e-mailing. Set the picture or recording
delay from 30 seconds to one hour, or record image sequences for each
event. Motion-detection system has adjustable sensitivity to eliminate
false triggers, and there's an LED signal lamp for walk-testing sensor
range. Each image shows the time, date, temperature, lunar phase and
programmable name and location. Built-in laser aiming device.
Sealed-five-button interface and two-line LCD screen. Durable,
waterproof ABS housing attaches to tree with supplied belt. Runs for a full hunting season on six D-cell batteries. CompactFlash card sold separately.
